Data Deletion Requests

OLI does not maintain public user accounts through this website.

If you have interacted with OLI and would like to request deletion of personal information associated with you, you may submit a request by contacting info@objectivelaw.org.

Scope of Deletion

We will review and process valid deletion requests in accordance with applicable law.

Deletion may include personal information voluntarily provided through email, forms, donor inquiries, volunteer inquiries, supporter communications, or related website interactions.

However, deletion is not absolute. OLI may retain information where permitted or required, including records necessary for:

  • legal compliance
  • tax, accounting, audit, or nonprofit reporting
  • donation processing, donor receipts, contribution records, or financial records
  • donor, contribution, or organizational records
  • governance, corporate, or compliance records
  • dispute resolution
  • fraud prevention, security, or abuse prevention
  • protection of OLI's legal rights
  • preservation of historical organizational records

In some cases, information may be anonymized rather than deleted.

Third-Party Services

If you provided information through a third-party service, such as a donation platform, payment processor, email platform, form provider, analytics provider, advertising platform, or social-media platform, that service may maintain its own records.

You may need to contact the third-party service directly to request deletion from its systems.

Verification

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity before processing a deletion request.

We may decline requests that cannot be verified, are duplicative or abusive, conflict with legal obligations, or seek deletion of information OLI is permitted or required to retain.

Timing

We will make reasonable efforts to respond to valid deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe, taking into account the nature of the request, applicable legal requirements, and operational constraints.
